- Overview
ZALIG completed geotechnical site investigation & report for 6.5km and 1.5 km of road for Lamont County.
- Project Goal
The purpose of the site investigation was to address the following:
- Ground surface elevation at each borehole location Obtaining soil samples at 0.75 m interval. Conduct soil shear strength parameters and impact on subgrade performance. Conduct deleterious exploration.
- Groundwater and sloughing level at completion of field drilling.
- Identification of utility crossings and any other pertinent information for the County.
- Results
A total of 56 boreholes was drilled during the drilling program.
Laboratory testing includes the following:
- Moisture Content ASTM D2216
- Sulphate Analysis ASTM C1580
- Atterberg Limits ASTM 4318
- Corrosion Testing
