ZALIG completed geotechnical site investigation & report for 7.5 km of road.
- Project Goal
The purpose of the site investigation was to address the following:
- Ground surface elevation at each borehole location Obtaining soil samples at 0.75 m intervals. Conduct soil shear strength parameters and impact on subgrade performance.
- Identification of utility crossings and any other pertinent information for the County.
- Results
- A total of 32 boreholes was drilled during the drilling program.
Laboratory testing includes the following:
- Moisture Content ASTM D2216
- Proctor Tests
- Atterberg Limits ASTM 4318
- Compaction Tests
