The light falling weight deflectometer and light drop weight tester are typically adopted to measure the soil in situ dynamic modulus. Typically, this modulus is used to evaluate the subsoil degree of compaction. Thus, making it suitable for compaction quality control of gravel roads, embankments and replacement fill.
