ZALIG completed a geotechnical site investigation (GSI) for a proposed church and multipurpose building North West of Edmonton.
The purpose of the site investigation was to address the following:
General geotechnical characteristics and borehole log of the project site
Nature and extent of fill and implications for construction
Groundwater, sloughing conditions and subsurface drainage requirements
Recommended foundations types (shallow/deep foundations)
Basement wall and other design parameters
Seismic site classification
Frost design considerations
Recommendations for Gravel and Asphalt parking
Recommendations for garbage access route
Groundwater and sloughing level at completion of field drilling.
Identification of utility crossings and any other pertinent information.
