Contract

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Review historical records, environmental reports, figures, and tables
  • Work with project manager to plan and schedule fieldwork
  • Conduct field investigations
  • Prepare health and safety plans for field investigations
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractor services
  • Oversee drilling activities
  • Collect soil and/or groundwater samples
  • Review and interpret laboratory analytical results
  • Compile reports, tables, borehole logs, cross-sections, and AutoCAD figures
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable Regulations,
    Standards, and Guidelines
  • Manage schedule, budgets, and tasks
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols
  • Customer service and communication with Clients

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, geology, or related
    field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the consulting industry or relevant industry
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret environmental regulations, guidelines, and standards (i.e.,
    O. Reg. 153/04, CSA Z768-01, Z769-00)
